Rays optimistic SS Franco (quad) can play opener

Tampa Bay shortstop Wander Franco's MRI on his right quad yielded "favorable" results, Rays manager Kevin Cash said on Sunday, and the club remains optimistic the star infielder will be able play Opening Day on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers.
